  • DA Abrams has always had a “victims first” philosophy. Under her leadership, she has:

    • Doubled the victim advocacy staff to better serve those affected by crime

    • Established the Elder Abuse Unit to investigate physical abuse, financial abuse and neglect

    • Conducted victim rights trainings for prosecutors to ensure victims’ voices are always heard

  • Launched the Solano County Major Crimes Task Force to independently investigate officer involved critical incidents

  • Re-established the Cold Case Homicide Unit

  • Established Restorative Justice Programs throughout Solano County, including Neighborhood Court

  • Received Outstanding Prosecutor’s Office award from the Department of Justice, recognizing our distinguished service and commitment to Project Safe Neighborhoods

  • Received the Ruby Award from Soroptimist International of Central Solano County for Women Making a Difference in the community

  • Held annual Kindness Campaigns to raise awareness of bullying in the schools

  • Conducted our first Safety in the Schools Symposium

  • Developed “Prosecutor for the Day” to give public an inside look at our daily work

  • Held Solano’s first ever “Make it Right – Clear Your Warrants” event

  • Launched Kids Court Program to introduce child witnesses to court in a safe and child-friendly way

  • Established DA College to enhance in-house training for prosecutors

  • Established Community Prosecutor Program to address quality of life issues throughout the county
